Meet Jeffrey T. Mintz
Dr. Jeffrey T. Mintz has been proudly serving the people of Brunswick County, providing comprehensive family dental services from his office in Supply. Established in October, 1989, Dr. Mintz provides a wide variety of treatment, from preventive to cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Mintz believes treating patients in a caring, comfortable manner and generating long-term friendships with his patients are his most important goals. In August of 2007, Dr. Mintz joined with Brush Dental Care, assuring that this high level of patient care will continue. In October of 2008, Dr. Mintz was promoted to Partner with Brush Dental Care.
Born in Wilmington but with family ties to Brunswick County, Dr. Mintz graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. He then graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He resides in Shallotte with his wife, son and daughter.

Trevor McDonald – Dental Hygienist
Trevor McDonald, RDH is a Brunswick County native residing in Varnamtown, NC with his wife Ava and daughter. A 1990 Cape Fear Community College graduate of Chemistry, Trevor worked as an analytical chemist for 2 years prior to entering a career in dental hygiene. Trevor received his Dental Hygiene degree in 1994 from Central Piedmont Community College and was licensed by the NC board of Dental Examiners. He was the class vice-president and wrote infection control policies for the dental clinic. Having over 13 years of clinical experience in hygiene, Trevor’s main interests are periodontal soft tissue management, advanced bleaching techniques, and preventive dental care. He serves as the OSHA/infection control regulator for the office and was featured in a national Dental Hygiene calendar. Trevor in his spare time enjoys spending time with his family, mixed martial arts, ATV riding, water sports, and grilling.
Becky Caison – Dental Assistant
Becky Carroll Caison is a Certified Dental Assistant and has worked in the practice since 2000. She received her certificate in intraoral radiography in 2001 from UNC School of Dentistry in cooperation with the Coastal Area Health Education Center and is also a 2003 graduate of the Cape Fear Community College Dental Assisting program. Becky is a member of Shallotte First Baptist Church and South Brunswick Island Shrinettes, where she holds the position of treasurer. Becky lives in Ash with her husband Bradley.
Lisa Mintz – Hygiene Assistant
Lisa Mintz joined Brush Dental Care in August of 2008 and is currently employed as a hygiene assistant. She was born in Spruce Pine, NC and moved to Wilmington early on. She is a graduate of New Hanover High School and attended UNCW. Lisa recieved her certificate in intraoral radiography in 2008 from UNC School of Dentistry in cooperation with the South East Area Health Education Center. She lives in Shallotte, and is married with two children.
Priscilla Andrews – Office Manager
Priscilla Andrews has worked in the medical and dental field for the past 26 years and is the Office Manager. She has worked with Dr. Mintz since 1994. Priscilla is a native of Shallotte, graduating from Shallotte High School and completing additional studies at Brunswick Community College. Priscilla is a also a member of Shallotte First Baptist Church, and an active member of the South Brunswick Islands Shrinettes where she was past President for the year 2008. Priscilla currently resides in Sunset Beach with her husband, Larry.
